Psypher Attempt 1

A rather well done first attempt of one of the main storyline characters, known by many names, but commonly known as Psypher. His storyline is somewhat long, but here is a shortened version of it. After an attack upon his home village, Joren sought to seek immediate retribution against those who destroyed it, only to be captured. However, instead of killing him, a group of scientists that sided alongside the Darkness took him to a secret location and gave him several modifications to allow him to become the ultimate killing machine. He was called Project Mimicry, due to his ability to pinpoint the source of an enemies power and perfectly replicate it thanks to special devices located at his hands. By this time he was completely brainwashed and swears his allegiance to the Darkness. The scientists also knew that Dias (main character) was drawing near, and thus prepared Project Mimicry (Psypher) for his first test. Unfortunately for Psypher, he failed to kill Dias when he first confronts him, and seeks out the scientists to help him become even more powerful, no matter the cost. In response to this, they cut off his hands and replace them with artificial ones, to enhance his already incredible powers to new heights, and in addition enhanced his mechanical eye, and equipped him with a prototype jet pack (which was rather cumbersome to use...). Despite all these new modifications, he again failed against Dias on his second confrontation, and knowing that the scientists would see him as a failure, pleads to Dias to kill him. Dias however, had other plans, and spares Psypher's life, if he agreed to join on his side. Psypher reluctantly agrees, and slowly learns his past and gains newfound friendships with many of the characters in the storyline. He becomes a great ally and offers help to Dias and his allies whenever it is needed. In the end, he sacrifices himself to ensure Dias would live to see the destruction of those "who murdered his village"...
